Fans of the popular sandbox video game, "Minecraft" will soon have a reason to love the game all the more as it is set to receive an important update next month. According to reports, the "Minecraft" December update or Holiday Update will bring new items and even introduce more features to make the gaming experience all the more fun.
"Minecraft" December Holiday Update is considered as the biggest update for the game so far, introducing new features such as Lingering Potions, End Cities Elytra. It will also have an amplified terrain, which has long been a part of the PC version of the game. The update will tweak The End, bringing End Cities, Chorus Plants, Chorus Flowers and End Ships, among others.
Players will also find new enemies in December's Holiday Update for "Minecraft." These enemies will include the Shulkers, which fire homing missiles while hiding near Purpur blocks. In addition, developer Mojang confirmed that players can use Dragon's Breath to create the Lingering Potions, which are potions that can be thrown as a trap.
Fans should enjoy "Minecraft" even more with the Holiday Update for December. Players should expect that the game will also bring fixes to bugs and glitches, more new blocks, status effects, mobs and items.
"Minecraft" developer Mojang has already given players an early treat to the December Holiday Update with a sneak peek. It is expected that more new features will be part of the update once it rolls out late next month. Mojang has yet to announce the exact release date for the roll out but it should be free for all those who have "Minecraft: Console Edition" on Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4, Xbox One and Wii U.
