There's a light ring that is also the top part of the volume ring rotated to control the speaker volume. The 2.5-inch woofer and 2-inch sound production tweeter are placed in the lower half speaker grille. Google Home has dual 2-inch passive radiators and 2-inch driver. It produces crystal clear highs and rich bass sound.
The speaker comes with a power adapter port and also micro-USB port. Google Home has a removable and customizable base and the Hi-Fi speaker is located at the bottom. The top surface has dotted lights for notifications and provides users full control of the device. The mute button is situated just above the "G" label.
After considering the software specs and performance of Google Home and Amazon Echo, it can be said that the latter may be a bit ahead of the other simply because of its support for more third-party apps. The Echo device provides a better user experience. However, Google Home's voice assistant, Google Assistant performs better than Echo's Alexa.
