It would be a bluff statement to say that "Grand Theft Auto 6" is a highly-anticipated video game. The upcoming title, which is the follow-up to the commercially and critically acclaimed "Grand Theft Auto V," has been a point of interest for fans and analysts alike, with developer Rockstar being very ambiguous and secretive about the title's progress.
Considering that Rockstar has revealed that its next AAA title would be "Red Dead Redemption 2," speculations are high that "Grand Theft Auto 6" would most likely seen this upcoming 2019 to 2020 release for the PS4, Xbox Scorpio, and PC.
Rockstar Games has never been popular to be a developer that creates unfamiliar titles. Over the years have passed, Rockstar has been able to manage a plan and finish its games so incredibly that players who have availed those years ago continue to play them up to this day. While each Rockstar title is almost satisfied of having premium quality, fans of its gaming franchises are usually been waiting for years before a follow-up game would be released. This has already happened numerous times in the past, and it is likely to happen for "Grand Theft Auto 6" as well.
Previous Rockstar's official Red Dead Redemption 2 reveal, issues were high that the developer would expose "Grand Theft Auto 6" to the public in 2016. Most of these rumors were fueled by leaks and speculations that Rockstar would be announcing an AAA title before the end of the year. But, it turns out that "Red Dead Redemtion" will be released instead Grand Theft Auto 6.
"This does not mean that the developer is running out of ideas for the next Grand Theft Auto 6" title, as by the Rockstar president Leslie Benzies. "We've got about 45 years' worth of ideas we want to do. GTA Online is the focus right now. There ain't no rest between finishing 5 and then Online. Plus we have some things and stuff. I don't know how to describe it exactly what we'd like to do, and we'll soon pick the right ones," as stated by Leslie Benzies during in an interview.
