A pinball video game "The Pinball Arcade" by FarSight Studios has a new monthly update allowing players to play the bonus game. There are also newer and shiner tables that are added in the game and older ones already come with a double pack. The two new tables are believed to be great examples of a classic style pinball.
The latest additions for this month are inspired from 1977 pinball. "The Pinball Arcade" also includes Jack Opens and Centigrade 37. The former update is said to be better known as "Jacks to Open" which was produced in 1984 by Gottlieb, D. & Co. The update includes a slicker art package that allows up to four players to play the game. It also has a non-mechanical bumper that is located in the center bottom drain.
There are already seven digits scoring which is different from the previous version, which has only five. It is believed that it has something to do with the gap of years from the original to the remake which is seven years.
There are no well-known remakes of Centigrade 37 in "The Pinball Arcade" according to Hardcore Games. It described it having an impressive thermometer on the back glass that will be filled if players could hit the lit targets. However, the thermometer could be filled a little at a time and it is assumed that once it will be entirely field, the creation of "what it looks like a lady Frankenstein" could be brought to life. It should be noted that Centigrade 37 is equivalent to 98.6 degrees, which means that one's body has a healthy body temperature.
On the other note, FarSight Studious announced the digital release of "The Pinball Arcade" for PS4 in Nov. 15, 2016. It further revealed that the game will be available in Xbox One soon and the company is planning to release the same on other platforms including iOS, Android, Steam, Wii U and Oculus Rift in the future. However, there are still no confirmation as to their specific dates according to WWG.
