If there could be one thing that avid "Mortal Kombat X" fans have been hoping to have as a Christmas present, it's no other than the "Kombat Pack 3" DLC. So it came as no surprise when gamers were left with disappointments when it was announced that the updates or DLC to the game's PC version is coming out a bit delayed.
The new DLC, called the "Mortal Kombat X - Kombat Pack 3," is one of the most anticipated expansion packs for the game as it expected to contain playable characters such as Baraka, Rain, and Sindel, who only appeared as story-mode opponents in "Mortal Kombat X". A lot of eager enthusiasts have been wanting the new "Mortal Kombat X" downloadable content (DLC) pack to be released anytime soon.
Unfortunately, NeatherRealm has its hand full with "Injustice 2" at the moment as it said to have some big issues and that the studio is anxious about its launch in 2017. This could be one of the main reasons why no actual release dates for both "Injustice 2" and "Mortal Kombat X" Pack 3" have been disclosed yet.
As for now, there is no definite date set for "Mortal Kombat X" Pack 3." Perhaps it is already in development or maybe it will never be. One thing remains sure; fans just can't get enough of this franchise that has spanned for more than a decade now.
Meanwhile, according to reports, a third DLC was hinted at by NetherRealm's director Ed Boon on his Twitter post last month. Boon asked in a poll whether gamers would be buying the Xbox One S. Besides Yes or No answers, he also added a third option, the "Mortal Kombat X Pack 3." The third option garnered more votes, as expected.
