"Injustice 2", a fighting video game made by NetherRealm Studios, will soon be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017. More details of the sequel to "Injustice: Gods Among Us" have been revealed and players might see new characters on board.
Some of the characters that were in "Injustice: Gods Among Us", such as Aquaman, Batman, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Superman and Wonder Woman will be carried over to "Injustice 2". According to reports, The "Watchmen" characters might also make a special appearance in this acclaimed sequel through downloads. A poll was done on Twitter by Ed Boon, director of "Injustice: Gods Among Us" and "Injustice 2," asking the audience if they want to see "Watchmen" characters. Seventy-four percent of the 20,056 voters answered Yes. New characters are also covered in the game includes Atocitus, Blue Beetle, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, and Supergirl.
Aside from the PS4 and Xbox One, a mobile version of "Injustice 2" will also be available for iOS and Android. During the San Diego Comic-Con International, it was made public that a digital comic book series about the story of the game will be available. Tom Taylor is commissioned to do the backstory guide. The game was announced on June 8, 2016, but no exact date for the release has been provided.
