"Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life" is supposed to be the final season of the series. But with the booming success of the show streaming on Netflix, there are reports hinting at Season 2 of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the life".
With "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the life", the show's maker Amy Sherman-Palladino has intended to wrap up the show properly after a weird end of Season 7. However, down the memory lane string has worked very well with the viewers as well as the critics. The entire series is comprised of 4 episodes of 90 minutes named after four seasons from winter to fall. The show's followers' wildest dreams have come true with the return of Lorelai, Rory, Emily, Luke and a host of other characters, reported Mirror.
Nevertheless, the shocking end of episode 4 of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" which supposed to be the last words ever, has left the fans reeling. Some are questioning again the end. Moreover, Rory is pregnant, which has raised many questions again. It will be a cliffhanger until the shows followers find out who the child's father is. On top of that, at no point in the series, Rory showed the desire to have a child. Does that mean that she enlisted Paris's help to be a surrogate for Lorelai and Luke? The fans will not be satisfied until they find an answer to it. When Sherman-Paladino was asked about the possibility of producing more episode she said that she was waiting for viewers reactions for "Gilmore Girls: A year in the Life".
"We really had a very specific journey in our minds and we fulfilled the journey. So to us, this is the piece that we wanted to do... We've got to put this to bed. And then, whatever happens, happens," Sherman-Palladino said.
Many fans are wondering whether the creator and the actors come together again for season 2. Meanwhile, Paladino is busy with her Amazon project, "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel". However, the public response towards "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is igniting hopes that Netflix might think of further installments, as per Hollywood Reporters.
