'Pokemon Sun and Moon' guide: Where to Catch Jangmo-o and How to Evolve into Hakamo-o and finally Kommo-o

Jangmo-o is one of the new dragon-type Pokemon introduced in “Pokemon Sun and Moon”. Its head is embedded with scales and uses that as its main weapon to attack or defend itself. It’s a very brave Pokemon that never turns its back to any battle. Jangmo-o starts as one of the weakest Pokemon, in the same tier as Rockruff and Cosmog, but evolves to one of the most powerful Pokemon Kommo-o.

Jangmo-o is classified as a legendary Pokemon and ranks as the 6th strongest in all Pokemon including other legendaries. According to legends, Jangmo-o is protected with glittering scales that also serves as its light during the night. It has advanced senses so it can tell if someone is approaching and rings its scales to announce the presence of the unknown being. And unbeknownst to many, Jangmo-o does not want to battle weaker Pokemon.

Where to Catch Jangmo-o “Pokemon Sun and Moon”?

Jangmo-o will not be found until later in the game. Its habitat is found in Vast Poni Canyon in Poni Island which is the third island that players will explore. Moreover, its habitat will not be accessible until the main story of the game has been completed and players is already the champion of Alola Region. When the player has finally accessed its area, players must make sure to have a Pokemon with False Swipe move to make sure they catch it.

How to Evolve Jangmo-o to Hakamo-o and to Kommo-o in “Pokemon Sun and Moon”?

Once the player has finally caught a Jangmo-o, they just need to level it up to 34 to get Kommo-o then get it up again to level 45 to finally get its finally evolution and legendary Pokemon, Kommo-o. Although do keep in mind that evolving the Pokemon will only be successful if the player has maximized its happiness.
