"The Walking Dead Season 7" is moving along at its usual pace. The plot will not be returning to the pending Negan and Jesus/Carl showdown but instead, it will be following Heath and Tara.
"The Walking Dead Season 7" episode 6 was entitled "Swear." It followed Tara and Heather on a seemingly unending hunt for food and firearms. As luck would have it, the two bumped into a group of walkers. To save herself, Tara jumped over the bridge leaving Heath to fend for himself.
Tara washes up at new outpost and she encounters a foot soldier, Beatrice, who told her of the Savior's blood thirstiness. According to the soldier, all of the men and boys have been disposed. Normally, anyone caught stumbling into their outpost will be killed but, since Tara opted to spare Beatrice when they met, Beatrice and their leader, Natania decided to spare her as well. "The Walking Dead Season 7" has not seen the end of Tara just yet.
Later on, in the sixth episode of "The Walking Dead Season 7," Tara escapes and betrays Natania, to try and find Heath. She returns to the area where they were attacked but Heath was nowhere to be found. She tried to fight the memory of Heath surrounded by the Walkers until, she eventually found a bloody trail that led to the tree line. Fans will have to wait and see if he is alive.
"The Walking Dead Season 7" episode 6 was aptly entitled "Swear" to signify how Tara kept her promise to Beatrice and their camp. She will not reveal their existence to the people at Alexandria. She saw that Negan was the new boss but she managed to lie and hide the fact that she was almost attacked and was captured by Natania's people.
Fans have mixed reviews about the latest updates on the "The Walking Dead Season 7." Some feel like the discovery of another settlement is just adding to the slow pace of the series. The constant airing of fillers may or may not end in the upcoming episode. To find out if the series will finally progress, watch out for the latest episode of "The Walking Dead Season 7" AMC, Sunday 9 pm ET.
