Arkane Studios announced today that the final DLC campaign for the first-person stealth adventurer Dishonored will be available for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 next month.
Titled The Brigmore Witches, players will continue on as the Whalers assassin leader, Daud, out to stop the titular witches. According to the synopsis: "After discovering the identity and intentions of Delilah, the leader of the Brigmore Witch coven, you set out to disrupt her from completing a powerful ritual that will spell your doom. Having already been betrayed by your lieutenant, Billie Lurk, you must rely on feuding gang factions-the Dead Eels and the Hatters-to negotiate your way through previously unseen districts of Dunwall en route to Delilah's stronghold."
Maybe you've come to sympathize with Daud over the last few bits of DLC, maybe even like him. Well, enjoy him while you can, because it looks like The Brigmore Witches will be his last adventure, as he's a loose end that needs tying up. The synopsis continues, "Regardless of the way you reach your destination, one thing is for certain - you will finally answer for your treacherous actions and fall before the mercy, or punishment, of the Royal Bodyguard and Assassin, Corvo Attano."
It's suspected that the leader of the coven, Delilah, is also a bearer of the Outsider's mark, indicating there could be some sort of connection between her, Daud, and Corvo.
Good news for players who've already made their way through Dishonored's second DLC, The Knife of Dunwall, any and all upgrades to your powers, weapons, items, chaos levels, as well as all your player actions will carry over to The Brigmore Witches via a compatible save file.
The Brigmore Witches DLC hits U.S. platforms first on August 13th, and the next day for systems in Europe. The DLC will be available for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points.
