With the Zamasu story arc already done, fans await what lies next for them in the hit anime TV show "Dragon Ball Super." Good news welcomes them as Future Trunks and Gohan are bound for the next few episodes, along with the backstory of Future Trunks.
Future Trunks was clearly the main hero in the Zamasu story arc of "Dragon Ball Super." With this, many of the fans admired his character, as he faced tough challenges to overcome all evil. To support the hype, the creators of the hit anime show have decided to recreate the backstory of Future Trunks.
The Future Trunks story episode for "Dragon Ball Super" will reportedly air on December 17. Along with this, fans could expect even better news, as Future Trunks is set to be joined by Future Gohan in this arc.
It has also been reported that Future Gohan and Trunks will be featured in the same timeline as that of the Cell story arc. It can be recalled that this arc made up the events from 386 and 387 in Legend 14 of "Dragon Ball Super."
As with all powerful Super Saiyans who are close with each other, it has also been reported that Gohan and Trunks will be merging to form Gohanks. Trunks is also reported to finally reach Super Saiyan Blue in the "Dragon Ball Super" episode. While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, fans are delighted, especially on the return of Gohan in action.
There have also been previous reports stating that Gohan could possibly be participitang in the Hit saga. This is rumored to be the next story arc for "Dragon Ball Super," following the Zamasu arc and a few filler episodes.
Ever since the "Dragon Ball Super" franchise has started, Gohan has been living in some sort of ignorance. In the upcoming filler episodes featuring Future Trunks and Gohan, fans are hoping that Gohan will finally return to the battlefield and be the warrior all fans need him to be.
