The Undertaker made his appearance during the 900th episode of SmackDown, giving the chosen stars a chilling warning if they lost to team Raw. Despite going up against a talent-heavy cast, team Blue did win over team Red in the five-man traditional survivor series match.
That said, is the Undertaker satisfied with the victory? If so, who would he choose to prey on next?
In that match, glaring was that altercation between AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose. Despite being on the same team, both failed to operate as a unit. Ambrose was the first one to be eliminated, making him a favorite to be targeted by the Undertaker.
Then again, seeing the Undertaker pick on AJ Styles wouldn’t be bad as well. Styles has been doing well with his heel persona so the “Dead Man” could return to see who is really bad-ass on SmackDown. Also, it gives the Undertaker a chance to become champion once again.
Seeing Undertaker and AJ Styles get it will obviously be a classic. Styles made a living being an icon in other wrestling factions such as TNA and WCW. A clash could be the next best thing to see over the botched Sting vs. Undertaker plans and all that could go down if the creative team scripts it, Bleacher Report reported.
Styles will eventually benefit from this, having faced most of the top stars the WWE has had. It justifies his rise in the ranks, something that was expected. A dream match like that could work which would be a treat that fans would love to see.
The only question now is the feasible time when that could happen. It could be a neat match for the Royal Rumble, perhaps the only feasible PPV considering Undertaker has been linked to major stars for Wrestlemania 33.
