After Bioware announced the official unveiling of “Mass Effect: Andromeda” gameplay on Dec. 1, more teasers are coming out. Another teaser that just came out from Game Informer is that “Andromeda” would not have all of the original trilogy races.
However, the developer did not discount the possibility that the races would appear in future games of “Mass Effect,” GameSpot reports. Mac Walters, creative director of Bioware, explained the studio designed the IP of “Mass Effect: Andromeda” in such a way the races could still all show up.
New Companions On The Tempest
“For hopefully obvious reasons, they’re not all going to show up in the first game,” Walters added. But even if not all the races are found in the upcoming “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” gamers would still meet new people as more companions join The Tempest ship along the way. Some of these new people are species seen for the first time.
While Bioware considers “Mass Effect: Andromeda” its biggest game, the studio hints more “Andromeda” games are forthcoming, but it would not necessarily be a trilogy. But PCGamer hints that a Milky Way race expected to have a role in “Andromeda” even without a proper ride is the Krogan.
Drack, A Krogan Squaddle
The basis of that information is a survey that a Redditor took in 2015 before “Mass Effect: Andromeda” was announced. The Mass Effect 4 survey mentioned Drack, a Krogan squaddle. The Redditor added a Krogan was very visible at the trailer of the game shown at E3 2015.
The tech website notes that the large Ark ships having some stowaways is a sensible explanation. Moreover, gamers love the Krogan. But with the Hanar, Volus and Geth putting in appearances, it has the appearance of a family reunion. The original game “Mass Effect Collection” and “Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition” are on sale at $9 on Steam as part of Black Friday sale.
