Gamers who are looking forward to Ubisoft's extreme sports game "Steep" would be glad to know that there are some awesome features coming to the game. Ahead of its December 2 release, game director Arnaud Ragot and brand manager Ollie Coe have shared their thoughts on the large-scale exploration and content sharing features of the game.
In talking to MCV, Coe explained that the upcoming Ubisoft extreme sports game is "set across a massive representation of the Alps." This enables gamers to access large-scale exploration from Mont Blanc to Matterhorn. Coe admitted that one of the goals of the game was to provide gamers with a sense of freedom, one that they will find in "Steep."
Ubisoft's "Steep" sees a release date of December 2, during which gamers can also get to see some content sharing on top of the large-scale exploration opportunity the game will provide. Ragot shared that content sharing is indeed one of the "key features" in the Ubisoft extreme sports game. Gamers will be able to access live performance sharing capabilities and view community videos as well. Moreover, gamers will be given the abilityto use the video editing tools to control camera angles and apply video effects, PlayStation Lifestyle reports.
Coe explained that "Steep" will enable gamers to "share their most insane stunts and epic wipeouts" and even challenge their friends to do the same. While the game will feature skis, wingsuits, snowboards, and paragliders, all of these details will further be expanded when DLC arrives to the Ubisoft extreme sports game. While there's no release date attached to the upcoming DLCs just yet, gamers are encouraged to let Ubisoft know what they would like to see in the game as well.
The extreme sports game arena is at a slump right now, but Ubisoft is positive that "Steep" will revive the genre and make it cool again. With "Steep," gamers can access large-scale exploration while earning rewards for those "risky tactics," as per Ubisoft's official website. "Steep" arrives to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC this December 2.
