"Westworld" Season 1 has been making a lot of noise because of its highly imaginative confrontation between real humans and androids. Now, new reports are claiming that the series outshines HBO's very popular "Game Of Thrones" series. The showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy along with the cast have received an early Christmas treat from HBO as it confirms the renewal for season 2.
The high rating of "Westworld" Season 1 is primarily due to the unique storyline of a highly advanced amusement park named Delos, which basically is a place for human freedom to be granted. The problem of the story evolved when a certain virus had infected the androids causing system malfunction. Humans became a target, and androids seems to have a mind of their own.
According to Entertainment Weekly, "Westworld" Season 1 received 11.7 million viewers, higher than that of the Game Of Thrones during its first season debut. Reports are claiming that HBO has been very thrilled of "Westworld's" high audience impact, and immediately proceeded to renewing the series. However, the sequel is reportedly returning sometime in 2018, since 2017 is too soon for the script to be written, as well as the showrunners are expected to map everything out.
However, the rest of "Westworld" Season 1 has yet to be revealed in the coming weeks. Fans are now excited on what the next episode has in store for the viewers. According to Comicbook, Episode 9, entitled, "The Well-Tempered Clavier" showcases Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) and Bernard, played by Jeffrey Wright reconnect with the past and understand the lies about her true nature. One of the most interesting character in the series is the Man In Black, in which it rumoured that his identity will be revealed and why is he trying to decode the mysterious maze. Rumor has it that Teddy will turn bad as he joins the Man In Black through the maze.
