After the box office mega-hit "Jurassic World", fans have been screaming to have a sequel. Fans of raptor Blue and his pack are just in luck because wheels are in motion for a follow-up. "Jurassic World 2" is slated to launch on June 22, 2018 in the US. UK fans though will be in for an early raptor-based treat -- a whole two weeks before the US debut that is.
The exhilarating chunk is that it will not only be followed by a "Jurassic World 2" but the film has been set in stone to be a trio. Chitchats that the movie will be a trilogy started a year ago. According to a previous report from Gamenguide, early this month director Juan Antonio Bayona confirmed the news of the rumored trilogy at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). He added that Colin Trevorrow already foresaw "Jurassic World" to be a trilogy.
According to Trevorrow, Juan Antonio Bayona the new director of "Jurassic World 2" will bring a different flavor to the table. The revered director J.A Bayona was already eyed to direct "Jurassic World 2" long before it was even possible. The sequel is built around his epic skillset. J.A Bayona is best known for his work in the Spanish Language chiller "The Orphanage", which is frankly quite scary even with showing very little carnage or ferocity. His subsequent work, the Oscar-nominated "The Impossible", which is set around Boxing Day tsunami in 2004 was a highly emotional story. His third film "A Monster Calls" is a fantasy tearjerker which will hit the big screens later this year.
It seems likely that "Jurassic World 2" may perhaps play on bringing fans crying their eyes out while scaring them. One thing is for sure, the upcoming sequel will be a blast, given that it has a colossal budget. Always be the first for latest scoop stay tuned, here on Gamenguide.
