Niantic is updating "Pokemon GO" every now and then. The recent update only had some minor tweaks but it also added the new Pokemon Ditto in the official Pokedex list. Recent reports claim that players caught Ditto in disguise with a common low-level Pokemon like Zubat, Pidgey and Rattata. But is there anyway players can recognize the difference between a real Pokemon and a Ditto in disguise?
According to a report from The Verge, Ditto is the kind of Pokemon that copies other "Pokemon GO" creatures it sees. As for now, there are no players that know how to distinguish between a real Pokemon and a Ditto that is in disguise. If players want to catch Ditto so bad, they really have to catch tons of Zubats, Pidgeys and Rattatas and throw lots of Pokeballs.
Players can also take Ditto into "Pokemon GO" gym battles. Ditto will copy the first Pokemon it sees and it will retain its form and all the moves until the battle ends. If Ditto sees another Ditto first, things will just stay the same and players should just fight their way to defeating the opponent.
According to a report from The Guardian, Ditto can't be seen in the map or nearby sightings "Pokemon GO" because it will appear as Pidgeys or Rattatas. However, if some player nearby already caught the Ditto in the area, it will show up marked in its true form.
Ditto is just one of the new additional Pokemons in "Pokemon GO." Some rumors claim that Niantic is planning to release other sets of Pokemon this coming December to celebrate "Pokemon GO" Christmas event. The new Pokemon is rumoured to be the Gen 2 and other legendary Pokemon. To know the latest news and updates for "Pokemon GO," always stay tuned to GameNGuide.
