Huawei mobile company was really aiming to the top when they launched their latest Huawei Mate 9 phablet last week. With its new refined specs and features, there's no doubt that Huawei Mate 9 phablet could beat the best.
Huawei's Mate series consistency of larger screen, Huawei Mate 9 phablet's 5.9 inch, and 1080 display was not a surprise at all. It was also an LCD Display with Full HD with about 373 pixels per inch. HiSilicon Kirin 960 CPU octa-core processor empowered the Huawei Mate 9 which was the first one to used Cortex-A73 cores. Another great news, no need to worry about putting larger files or downloading applications as Huawei Mate 9 phablet has 64 GB of storage, 4 GB RAM, and micro SD card slot (expandable up to 256 GB of storage).
To those who likes to take photos, the Huawei Mate 9 can take impressive photos with its dual cameras on the back with a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor and 12-megapixel RGB sensor (with OIS) which both have a f/2.2 aperture. Its front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/1.9 aperture. Huawei Mate 9 phablet supported the LTE-A Cat12 600/150Mbps for its connectivity. In addition, it has WiFIi 80211 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and WiFi direct. For the location tracking, Mate 9 has A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and GALILEO.
And now for the best part of Huawei Mate 9 that everyone was looking for, its battery fast-charging and of course, the safety issue. It was actually quite impressive as Huawei Mate 9 phablet has a larger battery with 4,000mAh which can last all day long. However, long hours of charging was the only problem with large batteries. But then, Huawei knows how to serve their costumers very well as they put a feature on their Huawei Mate 9 called SuperCharge. With an output up to 4.5A, you can charge the device within 90 minutes from 0-100%.
The Huawei Mate 9 had something more to offer while charging, it's the "Power Saving Mode" and "Ultra Power Saving Mode" buttons. Power Saving Mode allows you to limit the background applications activities, reduces visual effects and sounds. It will be automatically turned off when charging is done. While Ultra Power Saving Mode, Huawei described as "only select applications are available". Same with power saving mode, automatic turn off and only allows to access six apps including phone, messaging and contacts. The Huawei Mate 9 comes in Grey, Silver, Mocha Gold and Champagne Gold.
