Google Update: Tips On Using Chromecast With Google Home
Google Home and Chromecast users should know the right commands to make the most of the device and simplify media in their homes. According to Android Central, Chromecast can be used to stream audio from hundreds of applications directly to Google Home.
Users only need to talk to Google Home directly and say something like "OK Google, play the latest Android Central podcast." They can also select Google Home as a Cast target for audio in Chromecast then it will start playing immediately. Devices with Google Home app that are linked to Google account will send a notification on the audio that is played on Google Home. This can be used by users to pause, stop or mute the audio. Users can also use this to adjust the volume and mix Google Home with other Cast-ready speakers.
Users can also tell Google Home directly what audio they want to stream and to what Chromecast or any Cast-ready speaker they want to send and play it. With this, users should name their Chromecasts properly.
