Paul Raines has confirmed another groundbreaking feature Nintendo's new hybrid console: Motion control. The Gamestop CEO divulged the possibility of movement-related games that will be centered towards young children.
According to IGN, the U.S. retailer's CEO has commented on the Switch's motion control feature that will make games more interactive for kids to engage with. Motion controls were featured on Nintendo's previous consoles and patent documents further indicate that the hybrid gaming device might include a non-detachable motion sensor to go with the console's games in the future.
Nintendo Is Mum On Motion Control
The gaming giant has not yet answered questions to other possible features the Nintendo Switch might have, including the console's hardware specifics. Gamers might need to wait until Nintendo releases new information January next year.
There is a big possibility that the hybrid console will not incorporate the motion controls on the detachable Joy Con pads. Nintendo's president Tatsumi Kimishima had said that other peripheral accessories has not yet been showed off to the gaming enthusiast around the world.
GameSeek Already Accepts Preorders For The Nintendo Switch
The UK-based online retailer GameSeek is already accepting preorders for the hybrid console. In their official website, gamers can now pre order Nintendo Switch consoles for $250. Although the price is still unofficial, gamers have now flocked to the online retailer to preorder the hybrid console. Their official website also has a release date of March 17, 2017.
There is still no official word from Nintendo about the availability of motion control features for their latest gaming console. Hopefully Nintendo's January update on the Nintendo Switch will enlighten us on the console's other features.
