Apple iPad Mini 5 is one of the most anticipated tablets that are expected to arrive in 2017, and fans could no longer wait to know more about it. Despite the lack of information coming from the Cupertino-based company, the much-awaited tablet has become a subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet. Now new reports have emerged suggesting that the handheld device will arrive sooner than expected.
According to PC Advisor, the new iPad Mini 5 will be launched during the first quarter of 2017 with another Apple tablet, the iPad Pro 2. Although the report has yet to be confirmed by the American tech giant, fans are positive that both devices will arrive with advanced specs and features.
The publication added that the upcoming iPad Mini 5 will serve as an entry level for the more powerful iPad Pro 2. Previous reports suggested that the new iPad Pro iteration will arrive in three variations, which will differ in sizes - 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, and 12.9-inch variants. Although it does not have the same power as the iPad Pro 2, the iPad Mini 5 will come with its own amazing specs under the hood headed by Apple's A9X processor. The powerful chipset will be paired with 3 GB of RAM and a 32 GB storage capacity.
Rumor has it that Apple had already decided to eliminate its 16 GB minimum storage capacity in all of its devices. The tablet is expected to have a 128 GB storage capacity variant, which will serve as its high-end model. If rumors prove to be true, the new iPad Mini 5 will also carry the same 7000-series aluminum design used in iPhone 6s.
Meanwhile, in another report, speculations are rife that the new iPad Mini 5 will come out in March 2017 with Apple's upcoming iOS 11. The tech giant has yet to verify the reports and fans must take the rumors with a grain of salt. Stay tuned for more news and updates about iPad Mini 5.
