Fans of the new "The Lego Batman Movie" will be delighted to know that Lego has just announced collectible minifigures from the Warner Animation Group's take on the Batman franchise. Although hardcore Batman fans were not too excited to see their hero act like weird person in a superhero costume in the movie's latest teaser; Lego collectors and enthusiasts will surely bank on the movie collection's unique set of characters.
'The Lego Batman Movie' Collectibles Will Be Sold For $4
According to Comics Alliance, the collectibles will be sold for $4 a piece. However ,collectors whowould want to get specific characters will be disappointed as the minifigures will be packaged with blind bags. That means that you won't be getting "Heavy Metal Batman" on purchase. Instead will be getting randomized characters on the collection's release on January 2017.
The collectible series will be Lego's 17th range of collectible minifigures from Lego. The famous toy company has successfully marketed previous collections that include "The Simpsons" and some special edition Disney minifigures.
'The Lego Batman Movie' Debuts Worldwide On February 10, 2017
The movie animation will debut worldwide on February 10 next year. According to the official website, story is based on Lego Batman and how he plans to stop the Lego Joker from taking over Gotham City. Lego Batman employs the services of other Lego superheroes in his quest to liberate the city from The Joker's shenanigans.
Will Arnett will reprise his role as the voice of the Lego Batman along with Zach Galifianakis as the voice of The Lego Joker. "The Lego Batman Movie" is directed by Chris Mckay.
