In the eve of Thanksgiving Day, newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump calls for unity across the nation. He calls everyone to speak with "one voice, one heart" to celebrate the Thanksgiving festivity.

Donald Trump pointed out the after-effect of election campaign as "long" and "bruising." In his Thanksgiving address, he honestly said that the emotions of the American people were so strong and passionate. This holiday is the time to start healing from political disagreements creating great divisions among Americans, but Mr. Trump added that tensions don't mend overnight.

He recognizes the anger and discontentment after the election campaign. Unfortunately, this feeling of rage, exasperation, and displeasure of the election result doesn't go hastily. Trump continued that now is the chance to bring real change for the betterment of this country and be in alliance as whole.

Take note, these ladies are not a fan of Trump. BBC News reports that last Wednesday, South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley was chosen by Donald Trump for US ambassador to the United Nations as well as Betsy DeVos who has been opted for secretary of education, which they gladly accepted.

Donald Trump won with 290 electoral college votes against Hillary Clinton with 230 electoral college votes, however, Clinton is winning over popular vote with a lead margin of 2 million votes according to Heavy. Despite the surging popular votes of Clinton against Trump, the result is not likely to change.

To ensure the integrity of the election result, a dignified computer scientist suggested to recount the votes in these particular states to ensure that the result was not hacked. This recount is brought up to the public because a theory wherein Russia intervened in the electoral process favoring Donald Trump as US President.
