iPhone 8 is rumored to launch next year with a revolutionary wireless charging system. It is said that this feature would allow charging the iPhone 8 from across the room. Additionally, a KGI analyst also noted that the device may roll out three variants with one featuring an OLED screen and a bezel-free design.
Apparently, the iPhone 8 would be sporting a traditional approach like the one that Samsung used for its flagship models, Softpedia reported. Hence, the iPhone 8 may support wireless charging with a charging plate that may need to be plugged into a power source first. Moreover, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reportedly noted that only top-of-the-range models of the iPhone 7 will pack the charging accessories in the box.
Apparently, those who opt for the entry-level iPhone 8 SKUs will get them separately. On that note, there will be three iPhone 8 models. Kuo claims that there will be two iPhone 8 models with design and size like the existing generation. Additionally, a third iPhone 8 variant may sport an OLED screen and a bezel-free form factor.
Moreover, the OLED iPhone 8 is rumored to come with a 5.8 inches screen. However, if Apple will completely remove the bezels, the third iPhone 7 may sport 5.2 inch dimensions instead. All three iPhone 7 models are rumored to be made from glass.
Meanwhile, Apple is believed to release the iPhone 8 in September 2017. The handset may come with a front-facing camera and a Home button with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Note that the latter feature may be integrated into the screen itself, Forbes reported.
iPhone 8 is also rumored to sport dual optical image stabilization (OIS). According to Kuo, the OLED iPhone 8 and the larger TFT-LCD iPhone 8 will have the dual cameras with dual OIS. However, the 4.7 inch TFT-LCD variant may not come with the dual OIS. A 12MP telephoto camera system with a higher quality zoom is also slated to roll out on the device. Watch iPhone 8 leaks here:
