"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" will be released in the theaters this coming December 15. Fans are more than excited to see the first anthology film that LucasFilm is releasing for the "Star Wars" universe. As the release date is nearing, here are some "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" spoilers and updates.
In the movie, we will be seeing Darth Vader and his evil Death Star once again. In "Rogue One," we will be watching how ordinary people joined forces and formed a rebel group who was brave enough to battle with the Sith Lord. In this important event of the "Star Wars" universe, a rebel group dared to go a mission to steal the plans of the deadly Death Star.
According to Flickering Myth's site, "Rogue One" will once again show us just how Darth Vader is way beyond all the villains in the "Star Wars" universe. He understands everything in a braoder perspective and the Death Star was his ultimate weapon. He does not only understand the Force, but also how important military hardware can be in battles.
Another aspect that serparates "Rogue One" from all the regular "Star Wars" movies that was mentioned in the Business Insider, is that it will not have the iconic opening crawl introduction from the original franchise. Kathleen Kennedy, the head of LucasFilm, mentioned on Entertainment Weekly that the iconic crawl will not likely happen for the upcoming "Star Wars" movie.
The crawl, as how most people would refer to it, is one of the most iconic elements of all the "Star Wars" movies. But Kennedy feels that removing or the exclusion of the crawl is only proper since it is already reserved for the Saga films. There will be no crawl at the beginning of scene of the "Rogue One" since it is a stand alone film.
There is no telling yet how all these changes will sit with the fans. Until everything is confirmed or until we can see the movie for ourselves, we can all just hope that the "Rogue One" will be another epic movie from the "Star Wars" universe.
