Spoilers for “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 6, shows Alaric (Matt Davis) and Caroline (Candice King) providing photos of Aracadius (Wole Parks), more known by his nickname “Cade.” The photo heralds the debut of Cade among the living in the episode titled “Detoured on Some Random Backwoods Path to Hell.”
According to CW’s synopsis, Caroline would initiate drastic measures to make sure there is nothing on the way so she could keep her family safe after her kids became the focus of the sirens’ latest plan. Stefan (Paul Wesley), who is racing against time, promises to do everything to save the twins in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 6. Caroline and Alaric are forced to face harsh realities regarding their family’s future as tensions between the two boil over, TVLine reports.
Enzo Cannot Resist Sybil
Also in “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 6, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) could not resist Sybil’s (Nathalie Kelley) latest move, while Stefan triggers a series of events that results in him having to make a decision that would change his life. Inquisitr reports there is an extended promo clip that offers more details about the episode in which Seline (Kristen Gutoskie) assures Alaric on the phone that the twins are okay.
The twins look like are eating in a diner, but in an unknown location. Caroline is seen telling Stefan that if Damon would stand between her and the twins, she would kill Damon, she tells Stefan. The extended promo of “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 6 shows Sybil and Damon going to the diner to meet the twins.
Cade Encounters Caroline’s Twin Daughters
Cade’s encounter with the twin daughters of Caroline – prior to the lighting of the circle of fire – is also shown. The extended promo of “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 6 hints of Damon setting up Stefan although it remains a mystery if Stefan would survive or not the attack.
Speculation is that Seline and Sybil do not want to harm the twins but could want to offer Cade a deal so they could get out of their contract with the devil. Despite the power of the sirens, the twins – who are more powerful on their own and do more than the sirens could – are still innocent kids. The sirens’ bond with the twins and interest in them are because the two are reminder of Sybil and herself. “The Vampire Diaries” Season 8 Episode 6 airs Friday, 8 p.m. on The CW.
