James Remar (The Path) is heading to "Gotham" City in this current third season on Fox's Batman original series.
"Gotham" is adding a new branch to the Gordon family tree, casting Dexter vet "James Remar" in the original role of Frank Gordon. There's no exact episode stated in which he will appear. There's no stopping him from being one of the cast of Gotham. Being one of the major character in this current season.
According to the official description of Frank, who's the uncle of "Benjamin McKenzie's" fatherless Jim. Is a master of keeping a secret and a man who plays both sides? Frank abandoned his famly long after the fatal car crash of Jim's father.
And now 25 years has passed he's returning to reconnect with his estranged nephew. But Frank keeps a dark secret that will affect Jim's memories of his childhood. A secret will change the foundations of Jim's world. Forcing him into a difficult situation, between choosing to save his family and saving the city.
From writer/executive producer Bruno Heller, "Gotham" follows one cop's rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering between good and evil, and the chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.
In addition to Dexter, James Remar's TV credits include arcs on ABC's Greys Anatomy and FX's Wilfred. "James Remar" can also be seen in the upcoming second season of Hulu's The Path, alongside with Aaron Paul and Michelle Monaghan and in a recurring role opposite Rob Lowe on CBS' Code Black. His other appearance including "Greys Anatomy" and "Sex in the City" for which he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award.
"James Remar" recurring Gotham stint is slated to kick off early in 2017; as the Fox drama's fall Finale airs on November 28.
