According to the official synopsis by The Futon Critic of the upcoming “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8 episode, two men disguised as Sheriff deputies were killed by an unknown female assailant right in front of Callen’s (Chris O’Donnell) house. The incident will serve as the lead the NCIS team needs in the ongoing mole investigation. Also in the episode, Nell (Renee Felice Smith) will visit a prison to interview an inmate who is said to be withholding information regarding the mole in the department.
In the previous episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8, the unexpected appearance of Callen’s father Garrison (Daniel J. Travanti), finally gave Callen the answers he probably has been searching for his whole life. According to O’Donnell in his interview with TV Guide, his character’s reconciliation with his father will affect the story this season. For one, Garrison will have more appearances in the show in the remainder of the season.
O’Donnell also revealed that viewers will soon find out the identity of the mole. The actor said that based on the scripts for the two episodes of “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8 that will feature the mole investigation, the episodes will be well done. Of the two, the second one may very well be one of the best the show ever had according to O’Donnell.
The way the identity of the mole will be revealed in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8 will be a clever one said O’Donnell. As it is, the audience is beginning to be given a peek at who the mole may actually be. The actor promises that the big reveal will be shocking and the twists and turns leading to it will be something the fans did not see coming.
