Telltale has announced the release date of "The Walking Dead" Season 3 and some details that could surely make fans get more excited. The third series is titled "A New Frontier" and is reported to showcase a new character named Javier four years after the zombie outbreak.
"The Walking Dead" Season 3 is reported to have a worldwide premiere on Dec 20 just in time for the Holiday Season. Digital copies will be available for purchase for only $4.99 for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. For fans who want to have access to all five episodes of the "A New Frontier," they can purchase it for $24.99.
Aside from the news regarding "A New Frontier," Telltale announced that it will release a season pass disc for "The Walking Dead" Season 3 on Feb 7 next year which contains the first episode. It will also give access to episodes two to five as they are released. The disc will cost $29.99 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and is now available for pre-order.
"The Walking Dead" Season 3 is reported to introduce a new character named Javier who is set to find his family who has been taken away from him. Clementine will, of course, be a returning in the scene and is now older, tougher and wiser. "A New Frontier" is also reported to begin four years after the first zombie outbreak.
Telltale promises that "The Walking Dead" Season 3 will make every fan's choice count as it could be their last. It sounds familiar but fans are up for more exciting scenes in "A New Frontier" as Clementine and Javier's paths are set to cross. In the trailer, one zombie is seen to unfortunately cross the path of the two characters.
