The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the hottest incoming open world titles arriving fast from CD Projekt RED, and although there’s almost nothing known about the title, more new details have been unearthed from the cover of a gaming magazine.
EDGE magazine, only recently, presented an extensive cover for CD Projekt’s The Witcher series. The magazine revealed some new information about the game, and according to it, CD Projekt RED is planning for a 30fps experience for the game on consoles, alongside the inclusion of ‘Witcher sense’ that will be similar to Batman’s detective mode.
NeoGAF was the first on the spot to get hold of the details and post everything that were revealed in this edition of the EDGE. And by the initial information that got revealed stating that it will be a 30fps iteration, it seems like the game will be much less powerful than its PS4 and other next generation console counterparts.
According to NeoGAF, there will be no overt tutorial in the game and instead the mechanics will gradually be introduced. Moreover, Geralt can now choose to execute or spare bandits, although he can loot them either way.
The main storyline is also said to offer 40-50hrs, with an additional 40-50 in the open world. While the developers, per the report, don’t want to build a sandbox experience, storytelling still remains the main goal.
Here is the list of all the details as provided:

- Combat system now has dodge in order to be closer to the pirouettes found in the books.

- Geralt will change his stance according to the task he is faced with e.g. wary if surrounded by a pack of monsters.

- Main storyline is 40-50hrs, and another 40-50 in the open world.
- No "Fedex Quests."
