According to Polygon, Niantic has announced that in celebration of the massive success of "Pokemon GO," they're holding a Thanksgiving event that features more stardust and XP. In fact, the event will begin tomorrow, November 23, and will run through November 30. During this time, gamers will be able to double their Stardust and XP.
"Pokemon GO" gamers are encouraged to gather more Stardust for upgrades by hatching even more eggs from tomorrow until November 30. The Thanksgiving event that features more Stardust and XP will enable gamers to double their XP when completing in-game actions. Check out the official announcement here.
Meanwhile, Gamespot reports that a "Pokemon GO" new update changes CP for some creatures. Gamers should note that Alakazam, Rhydon, and Gengar will have their CP's increased with the new update. Niantic explained that this is in order to "allow a more balanced and competitive battling and training experience in Gyms."
Moreover, "Pokemon GO" fans must also be aware that some creatures will see a decline in CP as well. While the studio hasn't unveiled which creatures will see a lowered CP, fans are encouraged to keep on the lookout for the latest news and updates on this matter.
