The "Mass Effect" series has successfully brought the elements of science fiction and RPG mechanics together; blending uncharted worlds with masterful storytelling. Bioware has built a legendary franchise but not without its controversy with regards to the ending. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" aims to capture the interstellar wonder that made the series so beloved by fans around the world.
One of the most interesting elements of the "Mass Effect" universe is the variety of alien races that the player-character has the chance to come across. From Salarians to Krogans, Geth to Qunaris, each race is very well done and boasts a rich lore, unique aesthetic designs, and brilliant character traits. Fans expect to see more alien races in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" as Bioware expands the game's universe. Fans may get just what they were clamoring for.
According to Eurogamer, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will introduce two new alien races into the series. During a marketing survey leak this past April, the two newest alien factions go by the name of the Khett and the Remnant. Rumors have suggested that the Remnant will be a peaceful race that has been around since ancient times with the purpose of acting as guardians to their galaxy. The Khett may be the exact opposite, with rumors suggesting that this faction will be a bloodthirsty race thriving on war, violence, and chaos.
In other developments, Bioware's Mac Walters, one of their producers, has gone on Twitter strongly praising "Mass Effect: Andromeda" for all to hear. As reported by Gaming Bolt, Walters expressed his delight on the game's improved jump and verticality mechanics. He believes that the new and improved jumping abilities have greatly improved the world's accessibility. Along with the updated verticality, Walters went on to touch on the game's character customization and the addition of Loyalty Missions.
"Mass Effect: Andromeda" seems to be shaping up to be the game that will bring the series back to top form. The next installment in the epic sci-fi series is slated to release this coming spring of 2017 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
