"Red Dead Redemption 2" will be released in 2017 and Rockstar Games has confirmed that the game is well underway. Even though the public release is quite a few months away, Rockstar Games' parent publisher Take-Two has provided a glimpse into the world of the upcoming western-action adventure franchise.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick teased that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will offer "incredible emotional depth," "great gameplay elements" and "great story elements." When Rockstar Games officially revealed details about the game's development in October, Zelnick expressed his pleasure as it took six years for the developer for a follow-up.
As per Express, Zelnick also believes now is the right time to release "Red Dead Redemption 2." America's unforgiving heartland would be an important theme for an epic tale of life, the official statement from Rockstar Games stated. The game will also offer an incredible online multiplayer experience within the widespread "atmospheric world."
"Red Dead Redemption 2" could be released in Autumn 2017, which is a year from now. The game's teaser photo indicated a Magnificent Seven-themed setting for the Wild West video game. It will have the Williamson Gang including John Marston and Bill Williamson. Rob Wiethoff voiced John Marston in 'Red Dead Redemption." It is unknown if he is making a comeback.
"Red Dead Redemption 2" is expected to sell at least 15 million copies for PS4 and Xbox One consoles, analyst firm Cowen & Company has predicted. The game will be released on these platforms only. However, rumors suggest that the developer may extend the game's release to PC and Nintendo Switch.
Rockstar Games may also make more money from "Red Dead Redemption 2's" online multiplayer. However, chances of the game coming to Nintendo Switch are extremely poor. Stay tuned on GameNGuide for more updates on "Red Dead Redemption2."
