Google Pixel XL is currently being compared to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, as the competition between the two tech giants becomes stiff in terms of market sales. In fact, reports suggest that both smartphones are considered the best handsets every produced in 2016.
Both Google Pixel XL and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are believed to be equally matched in terms of graphics, RAM and processing power. Although Pixel XL runs the slightly updated Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, it is said to be an incremental update on the 820m, and not a next-gen chip. On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 lineup has either Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Samsung's Exynos 8890, with no significant difference in terms of performance. Moreover, both Samsung and Google handsets have 4GB of RAM.
While Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is reported to have a bigger batter cell, including some amazing battery features, Google is yet to prove it has optimized Pixel XL's smaller cell to provide competitive battery features. Meantime, the two phone models boasts of their respective camera setups, with Google's previous announcement that Pixel XL comes with a carefully enhanced hardware at its launch event. As for the Galaxy S7 Edge, the camera arrangement is quite an experience, based on reviews, as the image quality is reportedly easy and fun to use, providing good results, Know Your Mobile reported.
Google Pixel XL's camera is reported to be one of the best in the market today, given its breathtaking images that stand out on the phone's 5.5-inch crystalline screen. Aside from that, its lightning-fast battery can store up to seven hours of power in just 15 minutes. The new smartphone will be available at $869.
