'Dragonball Super' Episode 67 Spoilers, News & Updates: Future Trunks Bids Farewell, Dark Goku Arc Concludes

"Dragonball Super" episode 67 has formally concluded the Dark Goku Saga and this final chapter has made fans both shocked and confused. The reason for the confusion cause on how the episode concluded in an emotional note but there are various events that need more closure.

"Dragonball Super" episode 67, starts off with Son Goku, Vegeta, Mai and Bulma congratulating Future Trunks for defeating Dark Goku also known as Zamasu in what is arguably one of the darkest endings in the show's history. As the previous episode (episode 66) ended with Future Trunks slicing the villain in half using a technique that avid fans did not see coming. He used the Genki Dama or Spirit Bomb blade.

With the villain Dark Goku or Zamasu assumed to be dealt with, Goku, Bulma and Vegeta geared up to return to the present. This is where "Dragonball Super" episode 67 took a turn for the bizarre as streaks of energy blast came raining down on the whole planet. In addition, Zamasu's face shows up in a mist-like-essence killing everyone. The only survivors were Goku, Vegeta, Mai and Trunks who managed to survive by deflecting those energy streaks by a combination of Goku's Kamehame Wave, Trunk's Galick Gun, and Vegeta's Final Flash.

On the later half of "Dragonball Super" episode 67, with their backs seemingly to be against the wall, Son Goku finally used the buzzer that was given to him by "King of Everything" Zeno as shown in past episodes of the series. Zeno came to their aide and ended the conflict by destroying the alternate universe. The episode ends with Trunks and Mai thanking everyone that helped in the battle. As well as seeing glimpses of Future Gohan who fans last saw in the "Android Saga."

Overall, this episode was both confusing yet enjoyable. There are some events that seemed to contradict the established lore of the series such as Trunks using the Spirit Bomb and the power scalling has been thrown out the window. One thing is certain "The Dark Goku Saga" is a definite step in the right direction for a legendary series like "Dragonball Super".
