"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" received an update in time during the weekend's double XP party but even those who missed the event can gain from these changes. Infinity Ward dissects and plots all changes made in the game.
Focusing first with "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" multiplayer tweaks, there is a change in team scoring on Scorestreaks in Frontline mode. The scoring system is now based on where the owner is located. Of course, Double XP interface remains and gamers can still capitalize on it. Further, Volk has been tuned to lesser damage depending on range. It is also unwise to fire it from hip this time around because accuracy from this position has been significantly reduced.
Now for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" fans waiting for changes on Infected, initial infected will revert to normal infected this time should the survivor does suicide. Then the annoying Rigs unlocking limited to just one was fixed as well. The patch made rig packages to unlock when any of them pops, contrary to prior problem, GameSpot reported.
"Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" Zombies in Spaceland also received huge update, WWG said. Most notable is the weapon rank upgrade splash added whenever reaching a new weapon rank. What is unclear for now is powerup fixes done in weapons upgrade, though they might be too many for Infinity Ward to properly itemize the changes.
There were two notable "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" exploits that this new update fixed as well. First is the ability to double jump through kill trigger after respawning from death. Then secondly is the potential to substantially increase weapon XP gains when playing both MP and CP.
Expect other patches to come into "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" while waiting for first DLC for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Infinity Ward is trying to do a clean-up in preparation for better CoD 2016 before PlayStation Experience event in Dec 3 to 4 in California.
