In an era where the latest Apple iPhone's are pretty much a bigger and sleeker version of what it once was, many were suprised with how Xiaomi broke the mold with their Xiaomi Mi Mix boasting a much more obvious difference. Design-wise, Xiaomi gives more use in terms of screen real estate.
When the Mi Mix was first unveiled last month, the the ceramic acoustic technology and innovative design caught everyone off-guard. The very concept of its smartphone design would seem to have set a new standard in the smartphone landscape. On the other hand, as beautiful as it may look, Xiomi is only able to release 10,000 Mi Mix units a month, so the availability of variations for the smartphone seems to be highly unlikely, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Just this past week, several images have surfaced of what seems to be a much smaller version of the Xiaomi Mi Mix with the codename Nano. The original model has a 6.4-inch display that covered more than 84 percent of the front surface, while the Nano sports a 5.5-inch screen, acording to Phone Arena.
While the Xiaomi Mi Mix already looks classy in black, photos just recently surfaced showing a Xiaomi Mi Mix decked out in white. Some may feel that the black screams premium, but either of the two colors will be a complete head-turner.
There is already a high demand for the Xiaomi Mi Mix, especially with its very limited available units. There are also rumors that Xiaomi may release the Nano version next month, and will be just in time for the holiday shopping season. As for the white version, there still isn't anything official about its unveiling and release date.
