Ubisoft has disclosed the "Watch Dogs 2" 1.04 update which only fixes minor glitches. Unfortunately, the update doesn't deal with the issues that compelled the game's seamless multiplayer mode to be disabled before its release.
The developer said that it's pressing on the "Watch Dogs 2" 1.04 update to fix a small number of issues. "Overnight, we are pushing Title Update 1.04 to the live environment to fix a few known issues that have been identified since launch. This patch does not include a fix to the seamless online issue that we are currently focusing on; more info will be available on that soon," Ubisoft announced.
The "Watch Dogs 2" 1.04 update takes out a sexually explicit NPC model, fixes a bug with the emotes and weapon wheels as well as improves performance on the PS4 Pro. According to GameSpot, the bug fixes are all for PS4 and Xbox One-specific since the PC version is yet to arrive on Nov. 29. Ubisoft also said that the seamless multiplayer of "Watch Dogs 2" might be turned back on this weekend if the testing would go well.
The 1.04 update for "Watch Dogs 2" will also fix and recover missing phone apps and improved graphics during the Limp Nudle mission. Again, this update will not yet fix the game's seamless multiplayer function, which was deactivated on the day of the game's launch. Ubisoft said that another announcement will be made about this issue soon. Seamless multiplayer mode supposedly allows players to appear in other player's game environments.
"Watch Dogs 2" is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft. It is the follow-up to 2014's "Watch Dogs" and was released internationally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
The game is set in an adapted version of the San Francisco, California. "Watch Dogs 2" is played from a third-person perspective. In the game environment, the main character, Marcus Holloway, needs to navigate on-foot or by vehicles like trucks, bikes, boats and cable cars.
In the sequel, "Watch Dogs 2" introduces a hacker called Marcus Holloway, who works for a hacking group called DedSec. Dedsec aims to take down the city's advanced surveillance system. To accomplish this, Holloway possesses physical agility and acrobatic skills and has the ability to parkour around the city.
