For its Black Friday Sale, which actually started on Nov. 18 on various gadgets, Microsoft cut the price of its Xbox One S by $50 to $249 from $299. The offer comes with a free game and a $25 gift card, although this particular discount applies only on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24.
Also available only on Nov. 24 is a $35 discount on the Xbox Wireless Controller "Gear of War 4" JD Fenix Limited Edition to $39.99 from $74.99. The Xbox One Special Edition Dusk Shadow Wireless Controller’s price has been cut by $30 to $39.99 from $69.88, Mashable reported.
Laptops & PCs
For laptop buyers, Microsoft is cutting by $400 on Thanksgiving Day only the 256GB Microsoft Surface Book to $1,499 – which is 2015’s model, not the 2016 Surface Books with Performance BASE – and the 256GB Microsoft Surface Pro 4 with Type Cover to $999. The 126GB version of the Pro 4 would sell for $200 less at $799.
Microsoft would cut the prices of Dell computers by $300 such as the Dell Inspiron 15 i7559-5012GRY Signature Edition to $799, Dell Inspiron 14 5378 Signature Edition 2 in 1 to $499 and Dell Inspiron 15 i5559-4682SLV Signature Edition to $399. VR sets would be sold for $100 less, drones by $200 or $300 less and wearables are being discounted by $20.
Xbox Discount From Other Retailers
Other Black Friday discounts on Xbox One offered by different retailers include a $50 discount for the Xbox One S 500GB “Battlefield 1” Bundle at Newegg, which is the same price cut offered by Sam’s Club. Walmart has the same price point for the game console, but Black Friday begins at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day at the retail giant. Online purchases worth $50 and higher at Walmart.com be shipped free.
Best Buy and Target have similar offers for the Xbox One console, but Target has a $40 gift card freebie. At Dell, the freebie for an Xbox One S White 500GB “Battlefield 1” Bundle with “Gears of War 4” is an extra controller, PCMag reported.
