Mirror’s Edge 2 is back with another leak and this time it has been spotted in an entirely different part of Europe – Italy. The last time the game was in the news, it was when it was spotted on Amazon Germany.
As reported, Amazon Italy has currently listed the game for Xbox One, and this is not the first time that Mirror’s Edge 2 has been posted on the site of an official retailer. While we are not in a position to speculate or confirm anything, but there have been so many leaks for the game cropping up in so little time that it could be assumed that the game will have some kind of a presence at the upcoming E3.
The last time the game was listed via Amazon Germany (about a week ago), it was stated that Mirror’s Edge 2 will be arriving for Xbox 360 (and of course, Xbox One). However, the German listing was only a placeholder box art with no information or details about the game in the cover.
The only thing that’s common between all these leaks is the fact that all have listed the game for Xbox with little or no mention about PlayStation. However, there’s hardly a chance that a game of this magnitude and popularity will be made an Xbox exclusive. And just because Microsoft says that it has 15 exclusives coming out this year, doesn’t mean Mirror’s Edge 2 is also a part of it, or is it?
EA, on its part, has also frequently hinted about the possible existence of Mirror’s Edge 2, but is yet to announce something formally. Even if EA ends up showing the game at E3, it’s highly unlikely that the game will arrive this year. This is basically due to the fact that EA already has a busy year ahead with a number titles scheduled to arrive, and there’s slight chance the company will squeeze just another title for release.
The Italian listing, as expected, has now been taken down.
