‘Dishonored 2’ Latest News & Update: Bethesda’s Latest Patch Fixes Annoying Mouse Problem; NVIDIA, AMD Card Recommendations

PC players of the action-adventure stealth video game "Dishonored 2" can breathe a sigh of relief given the latest patch that addressed a few of the game's technical issues. Bethesda recently released its patch notes that contained helpful tips to update video card drivers, as well as some of the improvements it added to fix a few game bugs.

"Dishonored 2" was one of the highly anticipated gaming titles of the year given its intriguing gameplay features and visually stunning world. With the option to control the well-loved game character Corvo or his sister Emily, players can utilize different abilities depending on the protagonist chosen.

Despite the improved gaming experience from the title's first installment released in 2012, PC players noticed several technical issues in "Dishonored 2" such as mouse sensitivity, resolution problems and others. Recently, Bethesda released a system update to fix some of the glitches in the game's PC version.

Bethesda first highlighted the need for players to check and update their NVIDIA PC drivers, according to patch notes posted on Steam. Gamers are advised to use the new NVIDIA driver 375.95 to help address framerate issues in "Dishonored 2." For PC users with AMD video cards, the recommended driver version is the 16.10.2.

Game developers also fixed an AMC cloth physics issue, as well as the glitch that affected CPU task priority. PC players should expect an improved framerate performance in the game given the updates. Mouse sensitivity was also addressed that was previously affected by the game's framerate issues.

The "Dishonored 2" PC patch 1.1 is just the start of Bethesda's planned improvements for the said gaming title. In its patch notes, the company revealed that they are already working on patch version 1.2 to further enhance game performance and to fix other technical issues. Bethesda is looking to deploy the said patch in the coming weeks.

"Dishonored 2" was released on Nov. 11 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Watch the game's trailer below:
