Mark Rein, Vice President and co-founder of Epic Games, is pretty sure that this year’s E3 will have a lot in store for the games that are developed specially for PC and other mobile platforms.
Rein recently tweeted about what he is expecting at the upcoming E3 2013. And although he didn’t let out any key piece of information about a single title or what we might get to see at the event, it seems like he thinks the current trends will continue at this year's E3 in June.
“We’ll also see lots of great PC-specific and mobile games. Those areas have been growing steadily at the past few E3 events,” Rein wrote on his page.
Now there’s no telling what mobile platform games will be shown at E3, but it could turn out to be an interesting affair provided we see the arrival of some big name titles from developing companies like Gameloft, EA, or Ubisoft. However, something new and unique is always on the cards for E3 every year and there’s no reason why this year will be different.
As far as other notable titles and PC-based games are concerned, it has already been reported that CD Projekt RED’s forthcoming title next year The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be present at the E3 with its first gameplay footage, although the showcase will be held behind closed doors.
Other hotly anticipated titles that will also be present at the E3 include the likes of Watch Dogs, Batman: Arkham Origins, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, and may more. Also the multiplayer reveal for these titles are likely to happen at the event.
E3 2013 is scheduled to take place at the Los Angeles convention center on June 11 to 13.
