In last week’s episode of “The Walking Dead” Season 7, Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) pulled a fast one on the Saviors by telling them that Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) was dead. She was last seen going to Hilltop for checkup because of pregnancy complication, while Glenn (Steven Yeun), her husband, was killed in the series’ season premiere. What should we expect in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 5?
On Sunday, "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 5 viewers would be surprised to discover that Maggie is alive. She went with Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) to Dr. Carson (R. Keith Harris), an obstetrician who was introduced last season, for treatment, according to TV Guide.
Settling An Unfinished Business
Beyond medical treatment, Maggie also went to Hilltop to settle with Gregory (Xander Berkeley), the slimy leader of the colony, an unfinished business. She previously promised Gregory that in exchange for half of the supplies in Hilltop, the Alexandrians would take out the Saviors.
Maggie likely felt Gregory failed to warn her of the Saviors and Negan’s strength. She would then initiate moves to gain leadership in Hilltop to help residents fight Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).
Who Is Next Victim Of Negan?
Negan is associated with deaths in the series. When he and the Saviors first visited Alexandra’s Safe-Zone, he beat Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus). Although other characters are also staring at Lucille, Negan’s deadly bat, it is still Daryl who is the obvious choice as Negan’s next target.
However, despite Daryl’s playing very well the part of a broken man, he is smart and strong, so fans of “The Walking Dead” Season 7 could expect Daryl to find a way to flee from Negan and the Saviors’ wrath and join again his group.
Although Maggie is likely another Negan target, Cleveland believes it would probably be Sasha who would be next on Negan’s hit list. Based on the comic version, her role in the TV series in unclear. She possibly is an altered version of Holly which would open the possibility of Sasha being captured by the Saviors and made into a walker.
