"Pokemon Go" could be closing in on more new content soon, especially with the utter momentum it gained for the Halloween event. This could also mean that the next generation could come forth, as well as some interesting creatures alike.
As "Pokemon Go" has already established a steady flow and run last month, it is almost a given that something like the Halloween event will happen again. Not only is it expected to come due to the success, but more importantly, because of the holidays that are fast approaching.
Recent reports note rumors on the possible content additions for "Pokemon Go" are to come by Thanksgiving, and as the name suggests, there could be creatures given out that could adhere. Speculations talk of the Bird type Pokemon that may be featured in the same manner as the Halloween update-which means the likes of Pidgey, Spearow, Farfetch'd and even Slowpoke. Whichever creatures are said to exhibit the vibe of a feast are candidates for it, but rumors also say that the next generation could finally spawn on the said day.
On a more intriguing note, Forbes reported that as much as new creatures will be appreciated in "Pokemon Go," the inclusion of Mewtwo may be as destructive to the community as the creature itself. Reasons of such claim that once Mewtwo is added, trainers will almost instantly prefer using such for all defensive and even offensive purposes. This will include battling trainers who are also using Mewtwo as a defender, which is expected to somewhat distort the balance of the augmented reality title.
It is also said that "Pokemon Go" may finally push through with the PvP battle system upon the Thanksgiving update. Though this has not been officially declared, the possibility on such is still tolerable since Niantic consistently gives patches and updates up to this day. Will Mewtwo, the Thanksgiving-themed Pokemon and Generation 2 finally emerge soon? Sound off in the comments section below.
