Rockstar Games hasn’t given “Grand Theft Auto 6” players much to work on as it focuses on adding content to “Grand Theft Auto 5” while also focusing on “Red Dead Redemption 2” set to come out in the Fall of 2017.
Given that those are two IPs being worked on, it makes sense that Rockstar has its hands full and thus has no resource to spare on "Grand Theft Auto 6". This is one reason why a release is believed to be moved to 2020 rather than 2018, mainly due to time and manpower allocation, as mentioned in a previous post.
Hence, a misconception has understandably been dished out on Rockstar abandoning “Grand Theft Auto 6”. But given the scenario, the only consolation that most can hold on to right now is that "GTA 6" will eventually happen though patience is required.
The best thing to do right now is pay attention to the content being added to the "GTA 5". It may not be much but some of the new stuff are likely to make it to “Grand Theft Auto 6”.
The most recent addition are those Tron-like cycles called the “Nagasaki Shotaro” which are part of the Legendary MotorSport. The new ride comes along with a new Deadline mode for players to enjoy on "GTA 5", GameSpot reported.
As far as the game mode for "GTA 5" is concerned, players who try out the Nagasaki Shotaro bikes will have emitting light trails when played. The objective is to avoid them against other players or risk setting off an explosion. Could this be an added feature for “Grand Theft Auto 6”?
There are of course more to expect such as new maps, characters and goodies, hopefully good enough to keep “Grand Theft Auto 6” onlookers something to wait on. 2020 is a long way off though that could be more than enough to come up with a spunky new installment for gamers.
