'Dishonored 2' News and Updates: Failed to Match the Original 'Dishonor' Sales by 38 Percent Fewer Copies

Just recently, gamers complained about the performance of Bethesda's Dishonored 2 on PC. On Steam, the reviews show that gamers complained about low framerates, stuttering, laggy mouse controls and others although there have been suggestions on how to have it fixed. This could be one of the reasons why the game failed in its bout with its forerunner in the UK launch sales.

According to Tech Raptor, Dishonored 2 sold 38 percent fewer copies last week compared to the original Dishonored four years ago. A few of this difference will be soaked up by the bigger proportion of digital sales but just a small part of it. Note that UK numbers company Chart-Track only counts physical copies.

This week's new entries in the chart are "JRPG Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" which is on 33rd place and on the 39th place is Ubisoft VR game "Eagle Flight".

Eurogamer reports that the full top ten games in the chart are "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare", "FIFA 17", "Battlefield 1", "Dishonored 2", "Skyrim Special Edition", "Forza Horizon 3", "Overwatch", "Titanfall 2", "Lego Dimensions" and "Star Wars Battlefront".

"Dishonored 2" is a stealth action-adventure video game developed by Arkane Studios, published by Bethesda Softworks and designed by Joackim Daviaud, Christophe Carrier and Dinga Bakaba. The sequel to 2012's Dishonored, the game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 11, 2016.

The series takes place in the fictional Empire of the Isles with the majority of "Dishonored 2" set in the coastal city of Karnaca, capital of Serkonos, a coastal city in the most southern part of the Empire of the Isles and is set fifteen years after the events of the first game. After Empress Emily Kaldwin is deposed by an "otherworldly usurper", the player may choose between playing as either Emily or her bodyguard and father Corvo Attano as they attempt to reclaim the throne.
