"Married at First" Season 5 has just been greenlighted and the reality series that weds strangers will be back next year. This time, the new season will gather participants from the Chicago area.
The previous season of "Married at First Sight" recently wrapped up but fans will once again see new couples say "I do" during their very first meeting. Deadline has confirmed that the series has been renewed for "Married at First Sight" Season 5 premiering sometime in 2017. At the moment, details about season 5 have been kept under wraps and it's assumed that it's already in the works. But if the release date will be based on the premiere of season 4, the new season should air sometime in July 2017.
"Married at First Sight" is a form of social experiment in which contestants are paired up and they will meet each other for the first time during their wedding. The couples will be guided by a panel of relationship experts who will help them live as husbands and wives without even knowing a thing or two about each other. At the end of the social experiment, the couples need to decide if they want to stay married and make their relationship work or get a divorce. Fans are already excited about the pairing for "Married at First Sight" Season 5.
Meanwhile, "Married at First Sight" season 4 ended the story of two couples who stayed married after the experiment. Nick Pendergrast and Sonia Granados and Tom Wilson and Lillian Vilchez have made it through the season but the journey wasn't all that smooth for these couples. Still, after six months since they were in front of the cameras, these couples are still together. But will they be able to keep their marriage in the years to come? Will "Married at First Sight" Season 5 couples also stay married at the end of the show? It's too early to tell so stay tuned to GamenGuide for more updates!
