"John Wick: Chapter 2" movie is coming on February 10, 2017. The director Chad Stahelski reveals that James Cameron's sci-fi classic "Aliens" provided some inspirations in the movie.
Chad Stahelski thought that the first movie would never receive enough hits to follow up a sequel movie. When it was confirmed that "John Wick" was a hit, he initially struggled with the best approach to take to a sequel for the film until he was able to create "John Wick: Chapter 2."
In an interview with Stahelski, he explained the entire process of making the "John Wick: Chapter 2" and reveals his inspiration for the movie. The director stated that "John Wick: Chapter 2" will going to have a whole different direction and it will mostly be like James Cameron's "Aliens."
In the movie "John Wick: Chapter 2," a legendary hitman named John Wick is forced back out of retirement by a former associate who is plotting to seize control of an international assassins' guild. Bounded by blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome, where he encounters against some of the world's deadliest killers.
The "John Wick: Chapter 2" main character is portrayed by Keanu Reeves. The movie cast members include Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, and Lance Reddick. Some cast members remain in the movie, but as usual in the filmmaking, some characters will be gone and some will be added in every new series.
The filming of the "John Wick: Chapter 2" movie began in New York City on October 26, 2015. Other locations of the film is in Italy and in Manhattan, where the first week of filming was set.
