New Screenshot Shows Submarine For Grand Theft Auto 5 [LEAK]

Looks like players will be exploring the waters of Las Venturas in more than just a scuba suit and some flippers. A "leaked" screen shot showing a submarine has "surfaced" (sorry, I had to) on the internet.

A user named "We ti terun" posted the photo over on the forums at GTA.net. Based on some of the user's past posts revolving heavily around the Epsilon Program, GTA's in-game cult, as well as the poster's avatar, it's suspected that the poster is one of the winners of the contest Rockstar held last month, where selected participants would have their likenesses used as the basis for some of the game's characters.

The picture can be seen below.

We know from previous screens and trailers that underwater exploration would factor into the next GTA in one way or another, but if this submarine turns out to be pilotable, it's a big game changer. It would be the first time players could explore the depths without fear of drowning, sharks, or some other leviathan. With all the bigfoot myths that arrived when everyone was playing San Andreas, I imagine it won't be long 'til someone says they spotted the Las Venturas version of Nessie.

The game features the largest and most thriving game-world Rockstar has ever created, set in the sprawling city of Los Santos and for miles beyond - from the tops of the mountains to the depths of the ocean.

Not much is known about the story, but Rockstar has confirmed there will be multiple endings, and the story will be about the same length as Red Dead Redemption, at about 25 - 30 hours, and that's before the massive amount of secondary things to do, or release of the obligatory DLC, so this should be a monster of a game.

Originally slated for a Spring release, Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto 5 will be available on Sept. 17th.
