Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is reportedly set on a 2017 release specifically in the first quarter of the year. Rumor has it that the tablet will roll out in two variants with the same appearance as its predecessor. On the other hand, the tablet may come with the Android Nougat 7.0, expandable memory and as much as 5,870mAH battery.
The South Korean tech giant is said to be taking its time to deliver a more impressive and ready Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 in wake of the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. Samsung is believed to announce the two variants of the tablet during the Mobile World Congress 2017. In addition, the device is also said to feature the same 4:3 display aspect ratio and a plastic rear similar to its predecessor, Techradar reported. Samsung is yet to confirm the similarities.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is said to roll out in a bigger 9.7 inch screen and a smaller 8 inch screen variant. The former is said to sport a better resolution at 2048 x 1536 pixels. If true, the tablet may also run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage expandable with a microSD card.
Meanwhile, Samsung fans reportedly expected the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 back in September. However, the company's launch event left fans without the expected tablet. Samsung also recently passed the Federal Communications Commission certification last March, according to report.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 may also roll out with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow or the latest Android Nougat 7.0. It remains to be unclear whether the device will sport the latest Android OS out of the box. The smaller device is also said to feature 4,000mAh battery size while the bigger variant will reportedly come with 5,870mAh battery for a longer battery life.
